
FERRIS CLEMENTS
Ferris Clements joined Armbrust & Brown in 2017 and practices with the firm’s Real Estate group, where he focuses on commercial real estate transactions, land use, real estate development, and business law. His practice includes representing clients before city and county governmental entities in land use matters.
A native Austinite, Ferris earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2017 and his B.S. from The University of Texas in 2014. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Lee Yeakel of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and The Honorable Jeff Rose of the Texas Third Court of Appeals.
Ferris represents real estate developers, investors, individuals, and business entities in negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, brokerage and management agreements, and other agreements related to the acquisition, ownership, and disposition of commercial real estate projects.
Representative Experience
- Successfully rezoned 5.5 acres on South Congress Avenue from industrial (LI) to commercial vertical mixed-use (CS-MU-V) zoning, enabling a mixed-use development.
- Represented a real estate development company in acquiring 1,500 acres for a large-scale mixed-use project, including residential, commercial, and golf course uses in Travis County, Texas.
- Represented a real estate investment and development company on the acquisition, leasing, and management of three adjacent office buildings in Austin, Texas.
- Represented a real estate investment company in acquiring, leasing, and managing a 100,166-square-foot Class A office building in downtown Austin.
- Represented a real estate investment and development firm in acquiring, leasing, and managing a 5.5-acre mixed-use project in Austin.
- Represented a real estate investment company in leasing and managing 67,400 square feet of creative office and retail space in Austin.
- Secured a successful rezoning for a national dry cleaning company on Burnet Road.
- Represented a real estate investment company in acquiring, leasing, and managing a 19,551-square-foot Class B office building in Austin.
- Negotiated and drafted master services agreements for an oilfield services company.
