LITIGATION
Armbrust & Brown trial attorneys have broad experience in litigation, handling a wide variety of our clients’ disputes in state and federal court, on the trial and appellate level, and in alternate dispute resolution forums such as arbitration and mediation. As with the firm’s overall expertise, much of our litigation practice involves real estate, representing clients in disputes over acquisition and disposition of real property, land use and entitlements, commercial landlord/tenant matters, construction, mechanic’s liens, and homeowner and condominium associations. Our litigators are also skilled in handling other commercial disputes, with claims such as breach of contract, fraud, Deceptive Trade Practices Act, defamation and business disparagement, breach of fiduciary duty, and professional malpractice. In addition, our trial lawyers represent clients in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims arising out of natural gas explosions, automobile and recreational vehicle accidents, products liability, and oilfield accidents, obtaining multi-million dollar recoveries for our clients in several cases.
Our clients range from large national companies to local developers, builders, utility districts, contractors and entrepreneurs who have helped shape Austin’s remarkable development over the past few decades. Much of our litigation practice is based in Central Texas, but our trial lawyers practice before courts, arbitrators, and mediators all over the State of Texas. And in every case, while our lawyers strive to achieve a cost-effective resolution to our clients’ disputes, we have the skill and experience to pursue or defend a claim through trial or arbitration.
